Below is a selection of my favourite photos from the first GB rowing training camp of the olympiad. The men’s rowing team were up in the Sierra Nevada mountain range on an altitude land training camp that focused on ergos and weights and generally making you tired.

It becomes quite a weirdly satisfying challenge to try and survive the camp. There are no distractions, and you become focused completely on training. It’s all about consistency. Doing the same stroke again and again.
